The plan is to find a suitable place in the wild nature of rural Portugal, where we can create a peaceful home on the land for a small community of friends and stewards of the vision – some living there full-time, others part-time. Together, we will create a retreat centre dedicated to healing, creativity and sustainable living.

The centre will be a feng shui-designed sanctuary of beauty, featuring gardens filled with medicinal plants, home-grown food, bees and a natural swimming pool. Our facilities will include a temple space for group activities, together with accommodation and amenities for guests. It may be a simple and humble set-up, or a more ambitious project, depending on who becomes involved, our collective resources, potential grants, and the scale and capacity of the land itself.

We intend for residents to be able to live independently while also enjoying community life, with privacy maintained between the residential and retreat areas. We recognise that connection and collaboration with the local Portuguese community must be nurtured over time. At this stage, our commitment is to listen deeply, learn humbly, and create opportunities that honour and include local people and the next generation. We look forward to co-creating a space where respect, reciprocity and harmony form the foundation.
