The plan is to create a peaceful home on the land in wild, beautiful nature in rural Portugal, for a small community of friends and caretakers of the project. We will create a retreat centre, dedicated to healing, recovery, creativity, and sustainable off-grid living, for solo guests and groups.

The centre will be a feng shui-designed sanctuary of beauty, featuring gardens filled with medicinal plants, home-grown food, bees and a natural swimming pool. Our facilities will include a temple space for group activities, and accommodation and facilities for guests. It may be a simple, humble set-up, or a more ambitious project, depending on who becomes involved, our combined budget, potential grants and the scale & capacity of the land.

Residents, skilled in facilitation and practical trades, will be able to live independently from each other as well as enjoy community life, while maintaining privacy from group retreat areas.

We recognise that true connection and collaboration with the local Portuguese community will grow naturally over time. At this stage, our commitment is to listen deeply, learn humbly, and create opportunities that honour and include the local community—especially its future generations.
